Job description

  • The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions within the ServiceNow platform to support RapidScale's managed services and internal operations.
  • This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Service Delivery teams to enhance workflows, automate processes, and improve overall service experience for enterprise customers.

What You Will Do:

  • Design and develop scalable solutions within the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, and related modules.
  • Configure workflows, forms, business rules, client scripts, and integrations to support service delivery and internal operations.
  • Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and external systems such as monitoring tools, cloud platforms, and CMDB sources.
  • Support CMDB design, data integrity, and service mapping initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Participate in platform upgrades, testing, and release management.

Requirements

  • 3 to 6+ years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform.
  • Strong experience with ITSM and exposure to ITOM, CMDB, or Service Catalog.
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, REST APIs, and integrations.
  • Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, VMware) and how they integrate with ITSM workflows.
  • Experience working in a managed services, MSP, or enterprise IT environment preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Preferred:

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience with service mapping and discovery.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or Agile delivery models.
