Requirements
- Bachelors degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience or Masters degree with less than 2 years of experience (or equivalent)
- DoD 8750 certification at IAT Level II, Security+ CE or equivalent
- Proven experience analyzing VLANs, routing, IP addressing, and subnetting
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls, F5 appliances, and Splunk
- Troubleshooting and configuring IP networks using BGP, ISIS, OSPF, or static routing
- Experience working with Cisco (ESR, ASR) and Juniper routers on service provider or enterprise IP networks
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts effectively
Nice to Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Juniper and Cisco configuration, troubleshooting, and network design
- Experience with Cisco IOS XR, JUNOS, and Cisco IOS
- Scripting skills in Pearl or other languages for backup configurations and data retrieval
- IPsec, MPLS, and IPv6 configuration, troubleshooting, and design expertise
- Knowledge of network security protocols, DDoS mitigation, and cryptographic configurations
- Layer 2/3 VPN and firewall experience
- Physical cabling and wiring expertise
- Cisco or other vendor certifications
- Exceptional project management, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with DoD regulations and directives
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Advanced technical certifications from major network vendors (Cisco, Juniper)
- Extensive experience in network integration across a variety of protocol standards
- Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale network projects
Other Requirements:
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret security clearance
- Ability to support a fast-paced environment, with occasional travel as needed
