Job description

The De La Warr Pavilion is seeking an experienced Digital Transformation Manager to lead, manage and implement technology-enabled change as part of the transformational capital project An Icon For Everyone.

The Digital Transformation Manager will drive and implement the adoption of digital, data, and AI initiatives in accordance with the recommendations of a refreshed Digital Review and Strategy, NLHF Digital Report and 2026-2030 Business Plan. They will manage change in digital infrastructure, systems and processes, organise internal training and project manage the new DLWP website.

Key responsibilities

Digital Change:

  • Manage and coordinate changes in the digital infrastructure of the organisation as it goes through the capital project

This will include:

  • Working with IT partners and Executive Team to identify system and network changes in accordance with the needs of the Capital Project.
  • Act as a liaison between DLWP and IT partners to ensure all systems and networks are fit for purpose, future-proofed and meet business needs Manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance contracts of IT systems, networks, servers, databases, and software, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Take the lead on digital security for the organisation Work within given budgets

Change Management:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership team to co-ordinate change and achieve business objectives Lead teams through process changes, including change impact assessments and communication plans.
  • Work with the Data and Insights Manager to inform all digital decisions relating to audiences/users Organize staff training on new systems where relevant.

Project Management:

  • Review and refresh the existing website brief created by the NLHF Digital Consultant Project Manage the delivery of the new DLWP (NLHF-funded) website and integration of the Box Office system and CRM (currently Spektrix)
  • Project Manage the set up and integration of the Digital Assets Management System (DAMS) to service the new DLWP Digital Archive accessible via the new website.
  • Work across all departments to explore appropriate digital platforms for programming relating to our programme and heritage.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in Digital Change Management including website project management
  • Familiarity with AI, Big Data, Cloud and CRM platforms
  • Strong leadership and the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interpret digital processes in an accessible way
  • Forensic attention to detail
  • Have a patient and collaborative approach to working within teams.
