Job description
Insight Global is looking for an Unreal Programmer in the Warren, Michigan area. The programmer will be working in a lab setting working mostly autonomously. This team is looking to help support the design of ADAS features for off-road testing of vehicles in a simulation environment.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Evaluate existing gaussian splatting rendering plug-ins for Unreal
- Select the best plugin for rendering internally generated gaussian reconstruction
- Develop python tools/scripts to automated conversion steps to move from existing slam based lidar point clouds to gaussian splats using MILo (mesh on the loop gaussian splatting).
- Test mesh deformations in Blender of the gaussian reconstruction using the MILo plug in.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a graphics programmer
- 1+ years of experience using unreal
- Experience working with python and blender
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Gaussian Splats
- Experience developing plug-ins for unreal
- Formal training in unreal (degree or training program)
Benefits & conditions
$40/hr to $43/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
