Systems Infrastructure Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Systems Engineer / Deployment Manager for a leading enterprise IT organization. This individual will play a key role in planning, implementing, and supporting critical infrastructure and system deployments. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring high-quality delivery through structured testing and release processes. This role offers hands-on exposure to system integration, deployment strategy, and cross-functional collaboration, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their impact within infrastructure and technical project delivery.

3-5 years of overall experience in IT systems / infrastructure Experience managing deployments (hardware & software rollouts) Strong knowledge of POS systems - NCR POS CX (2.0) or NCR POS Emerald (1.0) Strong SQL knowledge Experience with batch scripting Strong Excel skills Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong communication skills (cross-functional collaboration) Experience working independently with minimal supervision (self-starter) Experience in lab/hardware environments

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree (preferred, not required) Experience with wireless Android applications API knowledge Exposure to agile or waterfall methodologies Experience creating test cases and QA collaboration Background working with Product, Engineering, and Business teams
