Job description

  • Resolve production and supplier issues, including troubleshooting and coordinating corrective actions
  • Maintain and update technical drawings and documentation, including preparing change packages for review boards
  • Diagnose hardware failures using a range of electronic test equipment and analysis tools
  • Evaluate defects and yield data to drive process improvements and reduce recurring failures
  • Collaborate with suppliers, create Statements of Work, and support general electrical engineering activities in production environments

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 3-5 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing and/or debugging complex circuit card assemblies and/or electro-mechanical systems
  • Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
  • Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Experience supporting production engineering activities involving electrical or mechanical hardware
  • Background in designing electronic or electro optical subsystems, including circuit design, assembly processes, and fabrication practices
  • Familiarity with engineering and analysis tools across electrical design, simulation, and measurement domains
  • Experience with subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to work independently or within small teams while providing technical guidance, coordination, and project oversight

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

  • Already existing, active/current Secret Security clearance status is required, * Bachelor's (Required), * Electrical Engineering within production/manufacturing: 3 years (Required)
  • Digital, analog, RF and/or mixed signal testing: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Debugging complex circuit card or electro-mech assemblies: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Lab equip: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supply..: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Interpret electrical + PCB drawings/schematics/layouts: 2 years (Preferred)
