Job description

Join the Reality Capture Product Line Group in Krakow and contribute to technologies that bridge the physical and digital worlds.

Our team transforms real-world data - including 3D laser scans, drone imagery, and photogrammetry - into intelligent digital models that power workflows across architecture, engineering, construction, and infrastructure. We focus on large-scale point cloud processing, mesh generation, automated feature extraction, and integration with Autodesk tools such as Revit, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.

As a Software Development Engineer, you will contribute to the design, development, and delivery of software solutions across desktop, web, and cloud platforms. You will work closely with senior engineers to build scalable components that support reality capture workflows and BIM integration.

This is a hands-on engineering role with strong growth opportunities in modern C++, C#, 3D software development, and BIM-related technologies.

The team will work in a hybrid working model from our office in Krakow, Poland., Development & Implementation

  • Design, implement, and maintain production-ready software components across desktop, cloud, and web platforms.
  • Develop features and resolve defects using C++ (Qt) and C#/.NET.
  • Contribute to geometry, mesh processing, and reality capture workflows under technical guidance.
  • Participate in UI and core application development for desktop products.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Collaboration & Quality

  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects to support system design and implementation.
  • Break down engineering problems into manageable tasks and contribute to solutions.
  • Take ownership of defined features from design through delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and consistency.
  • Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
  • Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team discussions.

Continuous Learning

  • Learn and apply best practices in performance optimization, software design, and testing.
  • Grow technical expertise in 3D data processing, geometry, and BIM-related systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 4+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent academic/project experience).
  • Working knowledge of modern C++ (C++17) and C#.
  • Basic familiarity with Qt or .NET desktop application development.
  • Experience using Git or similar version control systems.
  • Experience working in collaborative development environments (ideally Agile/Scrum).
  • Understanding of linear algebra, vector mathematics, computational geometry, coordinate systems, and geometric transformations with some experience of working with graphics API (OpenGL/Direct3D/Vulkan etc.)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Interest or exposure to 3D data, geometry, graphics, or visualization.
  • Exposure to meshes, point clouds, or reality capture data.
  • Familiarity with BIM concepts or the AEC industry.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines or DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Qt, WPF, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Docker, Python, AWS, CMake, or Jenkins.
  • Exposure to AI-powered development assistants like Github Copilot, etc.
  • Coursework or academic projects related to CAD, geometry, or visualization.
