Job description
- Lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing administration of Microsoft cloud and identity platforms, including Azure, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and hybrid identity solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for core on-premises infrastructure platforms, including Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, and related enterprise technologies, driving stability, optimization, and modernization initiatives.
- Support and develop systems for server provisioning and decommission.
- Work alongside business units to identify and develop technology solutions to business needs.
- Follow-up on remediation of audit and penetration testing finds.
- Lead collaboration efforts across end users and cross-functional teams, including Network & Security, Application Development, and the Project Management Office.
- After-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; Master's degree (MIS) is a plus. Additional appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience: Seven or more years related experience in administration of virtualization, network systems, and security. Implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, and security.
Skills & Knowledge:

Proficient with Microsoft 365 productivity tools (e.g., Office 365) for effective task management and collaboration.

Strong ability to evaluate, define, and document IT processes, standards, and operational procedures.

Comprehensive knowledge of Active Directory administration and best practices, including Users & Groups, Group Policy, DNS, and ADDS in hybrid environments.

Advanced PowerShell automation skills, including design, development, governance, and maintenance of scalable scripts and automation frameworks.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, identify root causes, and evaluate multiple solutions.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

Strong technical aptitude with a continuous learning mindset and awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.

Salary Range: $92,300 - $147,500/$110,200 - $176,000 Annual. Actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; internal equity and other conditions of employment.
