Requirements

This successful company in Cambridge specialise in simulation software for industry. They are seeking a C# WPF UI Team Lead with top coding ability, a focus on productivity and testing, leadership qualities, and small company experience. They have an international reach and a family feel.

You will be a participant in further recruitment, able to assess individuals' qualities, and mentor, develop and inspire your team. Technical requirements:

  • Strong commercial-grade C# and WPF user interface development skills via .NET 6-10, .NET Framework 4.8 or .NET Core.
  • Some knowledge of C++ desktop UI, e.g. MFC, for occasional legacy work
  • Expertise with Windows and Microsoft technologies in general
  • Can identify with business priorities and put into effect for your team of 3+ developers, delivering to time and quality
  • Technical interview and hiring experience, onboarding experience, and mentoring skills
  • Keen to participate in, and supervise, detailed technical training with excellent documentation
  • A collaborative approach, working alongside the engine team lead

Given the strong office culture, you will already be resident in the Cambridge area, or have strong ties here. You will have full existing long term UK work permission without visa sponsorship. Situated within cycling distance of north Cambridge, the company's offices also offer plenty of parking on site.
