Job description
This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in CHP, biomass, industrial steam or power generation environments. Reporting directly to the Operations Director/Managing Director, you will lead plant operations, maintenance and engineering teams while ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability and regulatory compliance., * Take overall responsibility for the safe and efficient operation of the CHP plant.
- Act as the site's Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for High Voltage systems.
- Lead operations, maintenance and engineering teams to deliver high plant availability and performance.
- Ensure compliance with statutory inspections and Written Schemes of Examination.
- Manage planned outages, maintenance programmes, contractors and engineering budgets.
- Maintain asset integrity and optimise plant performance.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Engineering legislation.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximise operational efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced and highly competent CHP Plant Manager (Senior Authorised Person - SAP) to take full responsibility for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of our Combined Heat and Power (CHP) facility., * Fully Qualified Senior Authorised Person (SAP)
- BOAS Manager Accreditation
- Degree, HNC or HND in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- HV Switching Authorisation (minimum 11kV, 33kV desirable)
- IOSH Managing Safely (minimum)
- NEBOSH qualification (desirable)
- Extensive industrial boiler and steam management accreditation
- Significant experience within CHP, biomass, industrial steam plant or power generation.
