Job description

A growing company is looking to hire a System Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chester County, supporting a Microsoft 365 environment centered on SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Entra ID. The organization is preparing for a project that will require connecting Teams environments across two company tenants, in addition to an active migration from traditional file shares to OneDrive.

This role is consultative in nature rather than purely support based. The successful candidate will serve as a primary resource for SharePoint and Teams administration and will play a direct role in the tenant to tenant work associated with the acquisition. Business stakeholders bring requests ranging from specific application needs to broader operational challenges, and this person will be responsible for identifying the appropriate tool or solution in either case. Strong communication skills are essential, as this role requires explaining technical concepts clearly to audiences with limited technical background., * 35% SharePoint (administration, migrations, site architecture)

  • 30% Teams (administration, tenant connectivity work tied to the acquisition)
  • 20% Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
  • 15% Entra ID and authentication support for connected applications

Daily Responsibilities

  • 50% Hands On: building, migrating, and troubleshooting SharePoint sites, Teams environments, and Power Platform solutions
  • 20% Management Duties: reviewing and prioritizing the JIRA backlog on a biweekly cadence
  • 30% Team Collaboration: consulting directly with business stakeholders, presenting solutions, and working alongside the rest of the Microsoft 365 team

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on administration and support of Microsoft 365, with deep focus on SharePoint and Teams
  • Working knowledge of Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) for building and supporting business solutions
  • Solid understanding of Entra ID (Azure AD) and how authentication flows into how applications function and connect
  • Experience migrating file shares to OneDrive and department shares to SharePoint
  • Experience or exposure to Microsoft tenant-to-tenant migrations
  • Comfortable working from a ticketing system
  • Strong verbal communication skills, including presenting technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and process guides
  • Demonstrated consultative approach, translating business problems into the right Microsoft 365 tool or solution
  • Collaborative style, comfortable working closely with a small, cross-functional team

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience supporting or administering AI tools in a business setting, such as ChatGPT or Claude enterprise accounts, including managing usage limits and billing
  • Ability to advise internal teams on prompt construction and model selection for AI use cases
  • Experience building custom Power Apps or Power Automate flows from scratch
  • Background in a regulated or compliance-driven environment

Benefits & conditions

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Strong PTO Package
  • Internal Career Growth Opportunity
