Job description

We are looking for a highly skilled Linux Engineer (IT Infrastructure) to join our agile development team. The ideal candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Linux and a strong automation-first mindset, using scripting and configuration management tools to develop, maintain and optimize workflows. The candidate should be proactive, capable of working with minimal guidance, and able to make architectural suggestions while knowing their limitations and seeking help when needed. It is not an operational role. Our team develops and maintains standardized IT infrastructure building blocks which are used in projects for Vanderlande customers. These IT infrastructure building blocks serve as the foundation on which other streams' software solutions run. The candidate plays a key-role in the development, maintenance and improvement of the Linux based building blocks while ensuring high stability, security, and performance. During the upcoming period a key topic will be updating Linux based modules to be NIS 2 & CRA compliant.
