Job description
The Business Intelligence Officer plays a key role in supporting Children's Social Care through the collection, analysis and reporting of performance data. The post holder will provide valuable insights to inform decision-making, identify trends and drive service improvements. Working closely with managers and stakeholders, you will develop meaningful reports and performance measures that help improve outcomes for children and young people. This is an excellent opportunity for a data-driven professional who enjoys turning information into actionable intelligence., * Collect, analyse and interpret data to support business and service improvement.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports, datasets and management information.
- Monitor performance and identify trends, patterns and data quality issues.
- Support the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide accurate business intelligence to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Present performance information through reports, presentations and verbal briefings.
- Assist managers in identifying performance improvement opportunities and actions.
- Respond to and collate information for Freedom of Information (FOI) requests.
- Develop and improve reporting processes and ways of working using information technology.
Requirements
- Experience working within a business intelligence, performance or data analysis environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.
- Advanced knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to explain data clearly.
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
