Job description

The position of the Master Data Assistant Controller is to manage the critical data in the SAP and JDE ERP systems for Crown EMEA., * Create production items through the SKU cockpit for cans, ends and shells.

  • Support the Material Creation process in SAP for Crown Europe.
  • Ensure the process is effectively covered during holidays and absence.
  • Maintain the Address Book for Crown Europe in all ERP systems, incorporating the critical data for customers, suppliers, employees, affiliates, hauliers, factors, payees, ship to address.
  • Ensure the Crown rules and protocols around access and maintenance of master data are precisely followed with recognisable and recorded audit trails.
  • Manage and maintain the Crown database for Exchange rates and Commodity codes
  • Create purchased items through the LSMW process for prime & raw materials, spare parts, tooling, packaging and all other material items.
  • Maintain approval routes for expenditure both inside and outside of ERP systems and ensure compliance to Crown policy.
  • Support mass data migration from JDE to SAP, and mass clean-up of data in SAP for various parts of master data e.g. BPs, Materials, GL's, Cost Centres etc.
  • Ensure Sarbanes Oxley Compliance in all processes.
  • Ad-hoc duties as required.

Requirements

  • Experience with SAP and JD Edwards ERP system.
  • Previous experience in a shared service function
  • Good eye for detail

Desirable skills and experience:

  • Current or studying for an Accountancy Based qualification (AAT,CIMA, ACCA)
  • Exposure to Sarbanes Oxley

  • Potential to grow within the organisation.
  • European language
