IT Support Technician

We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where your skills can shine and your contributions are valued., * Provide prompt and professional technical support to end-users onsite, resolving issues related to hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity.

• Troubleshoot computer hardware components, peripherals, and operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
• Handle business critical I.T. tasks and system improvements.
• Support network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), DNS (Domain Name System), TCP/IP protocols, firewalls, network troubleshooting, and installation of security tools.
• Troubleshoot, Research, and evaluate technical issues, hardware, and software in finding solutions.
• Ensuring accurate documentation of services, incidents and resolutions.
• Assist with computer management tasks such as software deployment, workstation-hardware-software-printers installation, and ensure component work together seamlessly.
• Collaborate with team members on complex technical troubleshooting involving I.T. and Network, maintain system upgrades and updates to ensure minimal downtime.
• Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Assistance in projects in Network Cabling, Security Equipment implementation, I.T. or Data Migrations, or Server implementation.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; additional certification is a plus
• 1- or 2-year(s) experience in I.T.
• Proven experience in technical support roles with a strong understanding of troubleshooting.
• Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems, and computer networking fundamentals including TCP/IP protocols.
• Hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting-hardware repairs, software diagnostics, network issues-and customer service skills to communicate effectively with team and users at all levels.
• Ability to analyze problems onsite quickly and develop effective solutions while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
• Strong communication skills for clear documentation and user interactions; ability to work independently or as part of a team in any environment., * Personal Vehicle
• Valid Driver's License
• Traveling throughout the Rio Grande Valley
