Job description
· Evaluate the stability, security, and scalability of installed Windows Server operating systems.
. Administer and support Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.
· Install new servers/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, services, settings, directories, storage, etc., according to project standards and requirements.
· Provide technical support to staff and end users.
· Troubleshoot system and server issues/errors.
· Review system error logs and user-reported errors.
· Manage user access.
· Monitor system performance.
· Maintain server architecture security.
· Investigate and recommend innovative approaches for system administration tasks.
· Perform daily system monitoring, checking the integrity and availability of all server hardware, server resources, key systems, and processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs, such as backups.
· Manage daily backups of physical and virtual servers, ensuring that all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to appropriate media.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience managing Windows Server operating systems (2019 through current versions), Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 environments. Experience with Hyper-V virtualization is highly preferred. Working knowledge of disaster recovery planning, Veeam backup solutions, PowerShell scripting, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration is a strong plus.
Candidates should possess strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, be comfortable supporting both server infrastructure and end users, and have the ability to communicate professionally with clients and team members. English proficiency (B2 level or higher, both spoken and written) is required., · English B2 or higher (spoken and written).
· Technicians, technologists, or professionals in Systems Engineering or related fields.
· Experience in planning and executing disaster recovery.
. Experience administering Microsoft 365 environments.
· Microsoft Azure certification or equivalent certifications. Preferably MCSA or MCSE with emphasis on Hyper-V.
· Proven work experience as a Windows Server Management.
· Detailed knowledge of Windows Server configuration, implementation, and maintenance.
· Familiarity with modern server operating systems and virtualization platforms (Hyper-V).
· Knowledge in network security systems, intrusion detection systems, and data backup.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Good analytical and communication skills.
· Ability to interact with clients in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
