Job description

  • Providing executive-level support to NNSA Offices/Programs
  • Assist in coordinating leadership meetings and video teleconferences
  • Maintain requisite classification controls.
  • Coordinate technical seminars.
  • Assist in developing, implementing and maintaining project management/control, classified scheduling and reporting systems and tools, in support of the Life Extension, Alteration, Modification, and other NNSA programs, including but not limited to: Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Risk Registers, etc.
  • Support roll up of project assignments, milestones, and performance into an integrated project-wide view.
  • Analyze cost and schedule control systems and provide recommendations to NNSA Federal Program Managers to assist in ensuring that NNSA sites are in conformance with NNSA program's technical, budgetary, and administrative policy while meeting mission objectives.
  • Support project-related technical analyses related to investment decisions, such as pair-wise comparisons, benchmarking, trade-off analysis, security/vulnerability project evaluations, etc.
  • Procure and/or present specialized training sessions (e.g., approaches and/or software tools used for EVMS, project controls, risk analysis, scheduling, etc.) for contractor/subcontractor staff.
  • As directed, provide a liaison between NNSA Offices/Programs, other department offices and outside organizations.

Requirements

  • Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.
  • Master's degree in engineering or cyber-security related field. Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of government experience
  • Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills., * PhD in engineering or cybersecurity.

Benefits & conditions

SALARY: Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate's related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position. The salary range for this position is $135-145K.
