Job description

An innovative clean energy firm focused on scaling advanced storage technologies is currently expanding. To support this pivotal stage of product validation and development, the team is looking for a Technical Program Manager to oversee execution across manufacturing, testing, and engineering departments.

Candidates who excel in high-velocity hardware development and possess the ability to guide intricate technical initiatives from the initial prototype phase to full-scale production readiness are encouraged to apply. Primary Duties

  • Direct technical initiatives by aligning efforts across operations, quality, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
  • Create and oversee comprehensive project timelines, key milestones, and essential deliverables.
  • Manage the progression of product development, ensuring seamless transitions from engineering builds and testing to final launch.
  • Proactively pinpoint potential program hazards and implement strategies to eliminate obstacles, ensuring project success.
  • Serve as the primary liaison to bridge the gap between executive leadership and technical staff.
  • Monitor interdependencies across various workstreams to guarantee that all project deadlines are met.
  • Foster a culture of accountability by conducting consistent status updates and tracking actionable items.
  • Contribute to ongoing process enhancements to boost overall operational performance and program delivery.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • At least five years of experience managing technical programs within complex product development or engineering environments.
  • A background in guiding cross-functional groups within sectors like battery technology, automotive, hardware manufacturing, or other high-tech fields.
  • Deep knowledge of the full engineering lifecycle, encompassing validation, testing, and production preparation.
  • Demonstrated success in balancing competing priorities while managing risks, schedules, and project dependencies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively manage stakeholders., * Background in electro-mechanical products, renewable energy, industrial equipment, or battery systems.
  • Hands-on experience with manufacturing ramps, engineering builds, design validation, or New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Certification in PMP or practical experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience collaborating within diverse, multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
