Job description

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test real-time embedded systems supporting advanced launch vehicle programs. This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle in a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in C/C++ development within real-time and Linux-based environments., * Develop and support real-time embedded software across the full SDLC

  • Participate in requirements definition and system architecture development
  • Design, code, unit test, and integrate software components
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and validation of embedded systems
  • Ensure adherence to software engineering standards and best practices
  • Work within RTOS-based environments for mission-critical applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, and test engineers
  • Support integration and system-level testing activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Strong Object-Oriented programming experience in C/C++
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based development environments
  • Experience in embedded real-time software development and debugging
  • Familiarity with RTOS (e.g., VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or similar)
  • Experience working across the full software development lifecycle
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with processor architectures such as PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V
  • Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) or Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing
  • Experience integrating software with hardware systems in lab environments
  • Experience building interfaces for complex system integrations
