Job description

  • We are looking for a Data Center Technician L2 to support the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center infrastructure.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience with hardware support, rack and stack activities, cabling, and resolving technical issues within a data center environment., * Install, configure, and maintain servers, storage, and network equipment.
  • Perform rack and stack, cabling, and hardware replacement activities.
  • Troubleshoot server, network, and hardware-related issues.
  • Monitor data center equipment and ensure maximum uptime.
  • Perform routine maintenance, patching, and equipment upgrades.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assets, installations, and changes.
  • Follow data center processes, safety, and security standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a data center or infrastructure support role.
  • Experience with server hardware installation and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of rack and stack, structured cabling, and cable management.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.
  • Experience with ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with VMware or virtualization technologies.
  • Knowledge of storage systems and backup solutions.
  • Familiarity with remote management tools such as iLO, iDRAC, or IPMI.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support.
