Job description
As an AI Specialist SC, you will join our presales team supporting some of our largest global customers. You will focus on our core offerings in machine learning, how do we apply best in class ML, position it appropriately, and have the right technical discussions to be able to drive impact for our global customers. You will collaborate closely with our product teams, sales, domain specialists, business value consultants, customer success, and partners to bring our AI vision to life. Why this Role Matters

Your Responsibilities and Impact
- Be the go-to technical expert for our ML capabilities, across multiple frameworks, data modeling, and planning applications.
- Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover critical business needs and identify opportunities for ML & AI-driven transformation.
- Present our POV, solutions and value to customers as part of broader sales motions, narrative-driven demos, AI workshops, and proofs-of-concepts.
- Coordinate with specialist and product teams to position multi-product solutions and mature complex, AI-focused opportunities to close.
- Serve as the voice of the customer to our product and engineering teams, ensuring your insights from the field shape the future of Anaplan's AI platform., * Extend offers to candidates without an extensive interview process with a member of our recruitment team and a hiring manager via video or in person.

Requirements
- Degree in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, data science, physics, computer science, engineering, or another quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL (with a focus on data & analytics applications).
- A strong grasp of the forecasting and analytics landscape, including business intelligence, machine learning, how to apply them effectively in different scenarios.
- Professional experience in cloud-based software from market-leading providers such as AWS, MS Azure, or Google Cloud.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical data science role, technical solution engineering, or ML/AI-driven presales role (SaaS/enterprise software preferred).
- Effective communication and presentation skills, particularly the ability to explain complex analytical and machine learning concepts in a comprehensible manner to different audiences, from business managers to technical engineering teams.
- Experience with Supply Chain planning processes, with a focus on retail verticals is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with EPM, CPM, BI, or ERP systems is a strong asset.
