Network Analyst

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Network Analyst to join our team USMC Team in Stafford, VA to analyze and evaluate foreign network systems, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), internet, intranet, satellite, and other data communications systems. Includes telecommunications specialists who deal with the interfacing of computer and communications equipment., * Analyze and prepare detailed network specifications, including diagrams, charts, equipment configurations, and associated technologies of foreign networks.

• Assess and identify vulnerable areas of foreign network systems such as modems, fiber optic cables, and telephone wires
• Assess and identify significant risk characteristics of the foreign network systems such as classification of network, baseline activity, architecture, operating system, services, connectivity and bandwidth.
• Develop and utilize new research methodologies and refine traditional techniques to identify intelligence gaps.

• Bachelor?s degree and at least 3 years of related experience in network analysis on government networks. An additional 2 years of experience may be substituted inlieu ofdegree.
• Understanding of communication network layouts and recovery options, * Extensive knowledge of Foreign Command & Control (C2) Systems
• Experience with analyzing red systems
• CompTIA A+ certification
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals (ITF+)
• CompTIA Network+ certification

Clearance Requirements:

• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this position.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
