DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Systems Administrator I to maintain and optimize enterprise applications and systems infrastructure. You'll provide essential support for both laboratory and business applications, ensuring maximum uptime and performance while troubleshooting technical issues across the organization. Working with advanced technologies and dedicated hardware, you'll contribute to our mission of making the world

REQUIREMENTS: * Bachelor's degree required, no prior experience required * Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field * General understanding of Windows Server and Linux administration, including directory structures and services * Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL query writing * Knowledge of desktop operating systems and Microsoft Office applications * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities * Proficiency in system configuration, monitoring, and maintenance * Experience with change management and deployment processes * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Self-motivated with strong attention to detail * Ability to work independently while following established procedures * Customer-focused approach with commitment to quality * Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing environments * Ability to be stationary for extended periods and perform basic physical tasks * May require on-call rotation and non-standard working hours * Travel may be required (up to 60-80% for lab-based positions) * Valid driver's license may be required
