Warehouse Inventory Specialist - Temp-to-Hire Opportunity SITECH Pacific is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our team! This role supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, organizing, tracking, and maintaining accurate inventory while ensuring products are ready to support our customers and team. - Ensure all inventory is assigned to designated bin locations with proper labeling.
- Organize inventory by product category and maintain clean, efficient warehouse storage areas.
- Track serialized equipment and ensure all product movement is accurately documented.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by following established procedures and controls.
Receiving & Material Handling
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, and condition against purchase orders and packing documentation.
- Inspect received materials for accuracy and damage.
- Enter inventory into the system before storing materials.
- Properly label and assign received inventory to warehouse locations.
- Safely handle equipment, parts, and materials using appropriate warehouse practices., * Pull inventory accurately based on approved work orders, sales orders, invoices, and transfer documentation.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, and product details before issuing materials.
- Complete system updates for inventory movements promptly.
- Process returns by inspecting condition, verifying documentation, and updating inventory records.
Cycle Counting & Inventory Accuracy
- Perform scheduled weekly cycle counts to support four annual inventory turns.
- Conduct blind counts to ensure accurate and unbiased inventory verification.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with root cause analysis.
- Document inventory adjustments and provide supporting information for management review.
- Maintain audit-ready inventory records at all times.
Warehouse Operations
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to warehouse processes and inventory accuracy.
- Support other warehouse responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Warehouse, inventory, parts, or material handling experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely.
- Dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
