Job description
Position Overview The Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, design, implementation, and management of enterprise ETL processes and database systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional business, development, and QA teams to ensure highly accurate data reporting, maintain system availability, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously optimize data workflows.
Additionally, you will serve as a technical mentor to junior developers on the team while partnering with business analysts and data architects to design scalable, secure solutions that support enterprise objectives., The Senior Data Integration (ETL) Developer is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, design, implementation, and management of enterprise ETL processes and database systems. Requirements
- Data Integration Platforms: Strong experience with cloud-based data integration suites, specifically Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC / IICS).
- APIs: Experience developing and consuming REST APIs for data integration workflows.
- Scripting: Proficiency in common scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or Shell scripting) to automate data processes.
- Database Connectors: Hands-on experience with database conversion, migration, and utilizing cloud platform and SQL connectors (such as Salesforce/SQL endpoints).
- DevOps & Tools: Experience managing code and deployments using Azure DevOps.
Architecture & Database Design
- Data Modeling & Warehousing: Advanced understanding of relational database design, dimensional data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas), and modern Business Intelligence (BI) architecture.
- Advanced SQL: Expert-level SQL writing, query tuning, and performance optimization skills.
Methodology & Soft Skills
- Development Lifecycle: Comprehensive experience across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving capabilities with a keen attention to data quality, governance, and security standards.
- Collaboration: Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into high-performance technical designs and mentor team members.
