Job description
We are seeking an candidate to fill our Application Analyst II position to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing support of our mobile banking applications for iOS and Android platforms. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver who understands modern mobile application development, values secure and scalable software design and is passionate about creating secure, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences. Working closely with business and technology teams, you will play a key role in delivering innovative solutions that help financial institutions meet the evolving needs of their customers while contributing to a collaborative, forward-thinking development environment., * Analyze, design, and enhance COCC products through structured analysis and testing
- Support implementation efforts including training and post deployment support
- Participate in cross functional design discussions and planning sessions
- Investigate and resolve system issues through detailed research and testing
- Document business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Produce functional specifications and supporting documentation
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies
- Track and manage defects through resolution
- Partner with stakeholders to align business needs with technical solutions
- Facilitate communication between customers and development teams
- Perform solution design, process mapping, and modeling activities
- Conduct gap analysis and risk assessments to improve outcomes
- Deliver end user support and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements
- 3 plus years of experience as an Analyst or software development analyst
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Banking or financial services experience preferred
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
- Professional certifications such as Business Analyst or Project Manager preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across all levels
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and within cross functional teams
- Proficiency in SQL and understanding of database structures
- Knowledge of relational and normalized database design
- Experience with APIs or single sign on design preferred
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile toolsets preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and diagramming tools
- Experience across the Software Development Lifecycle
- Exposure to wireframing tools such as Axure or Figma
- Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable recommendations
- Experience managing multiple priorities and projects
- Background in UI design, modeling, and process improvement
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive product and customer data
