Warehouse Inventory Specialist

This is a newly developed role within our business. We are searching for an experienced inventory specialist that can help our company incorporate a software system (fishbowl) to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory management., * Manage and oversee inventory levels across multiple warehouses, ensuring accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.

• Assist with shipping/receiving process and data input for real time inventory adjustments and updates
• Implement process improvements in warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate demand planning and production scheduling using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to ensure stock availability aligns with sales forecasts.
• Conduct root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies or supply chain disruptions to develop effective corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the rest of our team to ensure inventory is kept at an appropriate level

• Proven experience in supply chain management, warehouse distribution, or inventory control
• experience with a shipping, receiving, and inventory software system so that this system can be implemented into our everyday business operations. Would prefer your assistance in choosing the system
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like SAP, QuickBooks, fishbowl, etc.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively.
• Familiarity with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, 3PL (third-party logistics), and heavy lifting requirements.
