Data Center Technician

Must be able to perform component replacement (DIMMs, hard drives, power supplies).

-- Adhere to Change Control Processes

-Hardware Deployment: Handling full rack and stack of servers and network infrastructure.

-Cabling & Patching: Managing copper and fiber patching; regular troubleshooting of connectivity issues.

-Hardware Maintenance: Replacing failed components including DIMMs, hard drives, and NICs.

-Logistics & Inventory: Managing general shipping and receiving, unboxing equipment, moving heavy gear, and disposing of packaging/rubbish.

Rack and stack enterprise class technology (network, storage and enterprise servers)

-- Running, tracing, dressing and testing copper and fiber cables from patch panel to device

-- Familiarity with patch panels

-- Commission and decommission of hardware

-- Demonstrated experience in High-Availability Data Center

-- Complete adherence to documented process
