Job description
We're seeking a Game Designer to support our client, a gaming company, in a remote environment. This Temp role offers an exciting opportunity to shape player experiences across multiple platforms within a dynamic project.
Game Designer Responsibilities:
- Develop player flows, interaction models, prototypes, and comprehensive documentation for high-profile fighting games.
- Create engaging gameplay elements across both frontend systems and in-match experiences.
- Translate product and player needs into clear design structures and patterns.
- Maintain and develop design flows using tools like Figma, HTML prototypes, and in-engine mockups.
- Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure visual fidelity, technical feasibility, and cohesive user experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience designing gameplay or complex interactive products.
- Strong background in creating player flows, wireframes, prototypes, and detailed design documentation.
- Solid understanding of game design principles, player motivation, engagement systems, and onboarding processes.
- Experience designing for multi-platform products, especially mobile-centric experiences.
- Proficiency with Figma and excellent communication skills to clearly convey design concepts.
- Ability to work in an evolving project where visual direction and design systems are still developing.
- Systems thinking approach to scalable design features that support ongoing updates and iterations.
- Focus on balancing interactive interfaces' expressiveness with usability, clarity, and responsiveness.
