Job description

This is not a basic data-entry or administrative HR role. The HRIS Specialist will evaluate system processes, determine configurations and workflow designs, lead module enhancements, support timekeeping and payroll readiness, administer performance-management cycles, and ensure our HR technology is being fully utilized.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, technically capable, and comfortable independently resolving system issues while partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and operational leadership., * Administer, configure, and optimize HRIS modules, workflows, security roles, notifications, and system functionality.

  • Evaluate HRIS processes and module utilization and implement improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and user adoption.
  • Lead system upgrades, enhancements, testing, data validation, and new-module implementations.
  • Administer the time and attendance system, including schedules, workflows, approval routing, and exception management.
  • Monitor timecard completion and approvals to ensure payroll-ready information is submitted by established deadlines.
  • Audit employee changes, timekeeping records, paid time off, and payroll-impacting information for accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the managed payroll provider to resolve data, system, and processing issues.
  • Administer midyear and annual performance-review cycles within the HRIS.
  • Develop and analyze reports, dashboards, and HR metrics for leadership.
  • Conduct regular audits of HRIS data, system access, configurations, and internal controls.
  • Develop HRIS procedures, training materials, user guides, and system documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve HRIS issues for employees, managers, and HR users.
  • Lead assigned HRIS projects and process-improvement initiatives., This role provides the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of HR technology, improve how our systems support employees and leaders, and help shape the future of our HRIS processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • At least three years of HRIS administration, HR technology, timekeeping, payroll support, or related experience.
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now or a comparable HRIS strongly preferred.
  • Experience with system configuration, workflow design, reporting, testing, data audits, and implementations.
  • Working knowledge of time and attendance and payroll-readiness processes.
  • Strong Excel, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to independently evaluate issues, recommend solutions, and manage competing deadlines.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or multi-shift environment is preferred., * Bachelor's (Required)
