Job description
- Provide operational support to the Supply Chain department during a business system implementation.
- Coordinate purchasing activities for production materials, packaging supplies, finished products, and other inventory items.
- Create and manage purchase orders from order placement through receipt and invoice processing.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support production and customer demand.
- Review and process inventory-related invoices, including transportation and import-related expenses.
- Coordinate shipping documentation and assist with domestic and international logistics activities.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records within the company's ERP system.
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in cycle counts and annual physical inventory.
- Generate inventory and supply chain reports and maintain supporting documentation.
- Work collaboratively with Operations, Production, Quality, Customer Service, Finance, and other internal teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.
- Perform general administrative duties, including maintaining files and documentation.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, procurement, or a related field.
- Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience supporting process improvements, system implementations, or operational projects is a plus.
- Professional supply chain certifications (such as APICS/ASCM) are a plus.
