Senior Axiom Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Axiom Developer with strong expertise in AxiomSL (Adenza) regulatory reporting solutions, financial data management, and banking regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting regulatory reporting applications while partnering with Finance, Risk, Compliance, Regulatory Reporting, and Technology teams.

This role requires deep knowledge of banking regulations, data integration, ETL processes, reporting frameworks, and Axiom platform development to support critical regulatory submissions and reporting obligations.

Key ResponsibilitiesAxiom Development & Support

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain regulatory reporting solutions using the AxiomSL (Adenza) platform.
• Configure and manage:
• Data Sources
• Data Models
• Shorthand Rules
• Portfolios
• Aggregations
• Regulatory Reports
• Develop and optimize complex Axiom calculations, reporting logic, and business rules.
• Perform system enhancements, issue resolution, bug fixes, and ongoing production support.
• Troubleshoot report generation failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of regulatory reporting solutions.

Regulatory Reporting

• Design and support regulatory reporting requirements including:
• FR Y-9C
• Call Reports
• CCAR
• COREP
• FINREP
• Other regulatory reporting submissions as required
• Collaborate with Compliance, Finance, Risk, Audit, and Regulatory Reporting teams to gather requirements and implement reporting solutions.
• Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into technical reporting specifications.
• Ensure reporting accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable regulations.

Data Analysis & Integration

• Analyze and map source system data to Axiom reporting structures.
• Design and develop ETL processes supporting regulatory reporting workflows.
• Perform data transformation, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.
• Work with large-scale financial datasets and multiple source systems.
• Develop controls and validation frameworks to ensure data integrity.
• Reconcile source system data against regulatory reports and reporting outputs.

Testing & Documentation

• Create technical design documents, solution architecture documents, and functional specifications.
• Perform:
• Unit Testing

• Integration Testing
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support
• Document reporting workflows, business rules, mappings, and calculation logic.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC, audit, governance, and compliance standards.

• Experience working with large-scale financial and regulatory datasets.
• Deep understanding of regulatory reporting frameworks and banking regulations.
• Experience supporting production environments and regulatory reporting processes.

$65 - $70 an hour - Full-time, Contract
