Job description

Our client is a global market expansion and business services organization that helps companies grow across international markets through supply chain management, marketing, sales, distribution, and technology-enabled business solutions. On their behalf, we are seeking an experienced Country IT Manager, U.S. & Canada to lead Information Technology operations across North America. Based in Dallas, Texas, this leadership position will serve as a strategic partner to the Country Leadership Team while overseeing IT infrastructure, service delivery, technology projects, and digital initiatives across the United States and Canada. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence, support business growth, and ensure alignment between local technology needs and global IT strategies., As the Country IT Manager, U.S. & Canada, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, ensuring the reliability and security of technology systems, and supporting strategic business objectives through effective IT leadership., * Oversee IT operations across the United States and Canada, ensuring reliable system performance and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Manage local IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, communication systems, and security controls.
  • Ensure compliance with global IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and applicable local regulations.
  • Partner with regional and global Digital & IT teams to align country-specific initiatives with broader technology strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership teams and key stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective service delivery.
  • Coordinate the implementation and deployment of new software, hardware, and technology solutions.
  • Develop and manage the local IT budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
  • Monitor IT service performance and support ticket resolution to maintain high levels of user satisfaction.
  • Conduct IT audits, technology assessments, and asset management activities to identify opportunities for improvement and maintain operational standards.
  • Prepare and deliver regular IT performance reports, metrics, and recommendations to regional leadership.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and digital trends to support innovation and business efficiency initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of IT management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP, particularly MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution) modules.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft automation tools, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Excel Macros to improve business processes.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud technologies, networking, cybersecurity, and systems administration.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects from planning through implementation and delivery.
  • Experience with ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage IT budgets, resources, and operational priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Knowledge of IT compliance, governance, regulatory, and security requirements.
  • Experience managing IT service delivery and stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience working within a global shared-services or multinational IT environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship., * Experience supporting multi-country IT operations across North America.
  • Experience working within distribution, supply chain, logistics, or market expansion organizations.
  • Track record of leading digital transformation and process automation initiatives.
  • Experience managing third-party technology partners and outsourced service providers.
  • Familiarity with enterprise technology environments supporting complex global operations.
