From picking and loading the correct merchandise to ensuring on time arrival and product setup, our supply chain team ensures that the final step of the Mattress Firm shopping experience goes smoothly. When you work in our warehouses, you'll play a vital part in helping people sleep well so they live well every day., Schedule deliveries according to capacity and business conditions. Record missed and/or re-delivery problems. Submit completed delivery manifests and stop records by deadline for contractor settlement purposes. Complete records for contractor settlement. Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date. Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all. Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts. Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation. Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations. Non-Essential Responsibilities Answer incoming calls promptly and accurately. Maintain accuracy of ticket management system. Print accurate pick lists. Execute company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities. Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent preferred Professional Experience 1+ Years related experience required And Skills List Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to complete tasks with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge Microsoft Office Products POS system Basic knowledge of city and outlying areas
Physical Demands Warehouse Environment Sitting frequently Standing frequently Walking frequently Talking frequently Hearing frequently Lift or move up to 100 pounds Usage of hands and fingers Reaching with hands and arms Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling occasionally Sight is required to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
