Job description

The Network Security Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving the county's wired and wireless network infrastructure. Assists with network connectivity projects, hardware installation, troubleshooting, and operational support for county departments. ., * Assist with network administration tasks including network wiring, wireless networking, remote building connectivity, and departmental moves.

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot network-related hardware and software in response to customer or departmental needs.
  • Provide Tier 2 technical support to resolve network-related issues and collaborate with IT teammates.
  • Evaluate and recommend network technologies, tools, and improvements to enhance system reliability and performance.
  • Participate in training, seminars, and meetings as required.
  • Answers department phones and assists with general IT support when needed.
  • Work with the Bureau of Elections in support of Election Day processes.
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Information Technology, Network Administration, Computer Science, or related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Certifications or 5-10 years of work experience in technical support or information technology will be considered.
