Job description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
  • Provide Tier I and Tier II desktop and systems support for Windows workstations, laptops, Microsoft 365, and related technologies
  • Manage user onboarding and offboarding, including provisioning accounts, devices, permissions, and access
  • Lead vulnerability management efforts and assist with endpoint security, security alerts, and account administration
  • Support cybersecurity compliance initiatives by maintaining documentation, system inventories, security baselines, and audit evidence
  • Coordinate with external IT providers, vendors, and contractors to maintain secure and reliable technology systems
  • Configure and maintain workstation builds, laptops, peripheral equipment, and standard system images
  • Evaluate software updates, patches, and system upgrades while balancing security and operational needs
  • Maintain hardware, software, licensing, and technology asset inventories
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot outages, prioritize service requests, and escalate issues when necessary
  • Recommend improvements to IT infrastructure, security controls, and overall technology operations
  • Ensure technology systems remain secure, compliant, and well documented, * Full-time

  • Occasional on-call support for critical incidents and maintenance
  • Local travel between nearby office locations as needed

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of hands-on IT support experience in a professional environment
  • Experience providing Tier I and Tier II desktop and systems support
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID
  • Working knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, Wi-Fi)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts including endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, vulnerability management, and access control
  • Experience supporting compliance-driven environments such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, or similar security frameworks is highly preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, documentation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA Security+
  • CompTIA Network+
  • Microsoft MS-900
  • Microsoft SC-900
  • CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP), Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field preferred.

Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Equivalent professional IT support experience will also be considered.
