Job description

We are seeking a Solution Architect to support a new Digital Assets program focused on stablecoin-based payments, custodial flows, and tokenized deposits. This person will own end-to-end architecture and guide engineering teams as we design and implement production-grade digital asset capabilities in partnership with providers such as Ripple, Stablecore, Circle, and other custody/wallet platforms.

The ideal candidate has deep, hands-on experience in the digital assets space, with proven delivery of stablecoin payments, tokenized deposits, and/or on-chain settlement in financial institutions or fintechs., * Define and own the reference architecture for stablecoin and tokenized deposit capabilities, including:

  • On/off-ramp, mint/redeem, transfers, and settlement.
  • Custodial wallet infrastructure and key management.
  • Integration with core banking, payment rails, and compliance systems.
  • Design end-to-end flows for stablecoin-based payments and tokenized deposits across:
  • Customer onboarding, funding, transaction processing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Partner with product, engineering, risk, and compliance to:
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure architectures.
  • Define non-functional requirements (scalability, resilience, security, observability).
  • Lead vendor evaluation and integration with digital asset providers (e.g., Ripple, Stablecore, Circle, Fireblocks, etc.).
  • Guide multiple engineering squads on:
  • API design, event-driven architecture, microservices, and data models.
  • Security, compliance (KYC/AML, sanctions), and auditability.
  • Drive architecture governance, standards, and best practices across the digital assets program.

Requirements

Experience: 10+ years in enterprise architecture / engineering, with 3+ years focused on digital assets, stablecoins, or tokenized deposits in a regulated environment., * 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture / engineering in financial services or fintech.

  • Strong hands-on experience in digital assets, including at least one of:
  • Stablecoin-based payments (e.g., USDC, USDT, or similar).
  • Tokenized deposits or bank-issued on-chain deposit tokens.
  • Custody / wallet infrastructure and key management for institutional digital assets.
  • Proven track record of designing and delivering production systems in regulated environments (banks, broker-dealers, payment companies).
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Payment flows, settlement, reconciliation, and ledgering.
  • Compliance controls (KYC/AML, sanctions, travel-rule style requirements).
  • API-led integrations with core banking, payment processors, and custody providers.
  • Experience with providers such as Ripple, Stablecore, Circle, Fireblocks, Anchorage, BitGo, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with blockchain protocols (Ethereum, Solana, Stellar, Hyperledger, Corda, etc.).
  • Exposure to smart contracts, DeFi, RWA tokenization, or related areas.
  • Certifications in architecture (TOGAF, AWS/Azure solutions architect, etc.).
