We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Data Center Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that powers our data centers, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Your expertise will help facilitate seamless operations by managing hardware, software, and network systems within a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud infrastructure, automation tools, and DevOps practices to support our digital transformation initiatives., * Install, configure, and troubleshoot data center hardware including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems.
- Monitor system performance using IT monitoring tools and perform routine maintenance to prevent outages.
- Automate deployment processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform.
- Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms such as AWS, Azure, and private clouds, ensuring security and compliance standards are met.
- Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for streamlined software delivery.
- Conduct technical troubleshooting support for system issues related to Linux, Windows, Oracle databases, or operating systems.
- Assist in project management activities related to IT infrastructure upgrades or new deployments following Agile methodologies.
- Implement performance monitoring strategies for IT infrastructure components to optimize efficiency and uptime.
- Support system troubleshooting efforts involving APIs, Kubernetes clusters, and DevOps automation workflows.
Requirements
- Proven experience in system administration within data center environments or cloud infrastructure settings.
- Hands-on knowledge of DevSecOps practices, Kubernetes orchestration, and automation of deployment processes.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networking equipment, storage solutions, and operating systems like Linux and Windows.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and IT monitoring solutions to ensure system reliability.
- Project management experience in technology projects involving SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Agile methodologies, or SRE (Site Reliability Engineering).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Azure along with APIs integration skills.
- Technical troubleshooting support expertise across diverse systems including Oracle databases and enterprise IT environments.
