Job description
An experienced Solution Architect - Communication & Content Solutions is required to shape, evolve, and safeguard solution architecture within a complex IT landscape. Working closely with business and IT stakeholders, you will ensure coherent, scalable, and sustainable solutions aligned with enterprise strategy and architectural standards.
You will contribute to a transversal digital environment supporting communication and content services, including document generation, multi-channel distribution (paper and electronic), archiving of incoming and outgoing communications, process orchestration through automated workflows, as well as testing, monitoring, and operational support.
Your mission: Analyze and challenge business requirements, translating them into end-to-end architectural solutions. Assess the impact of new initiatives on the existing architecture and define target-state evolutions aligned with enterprise strategy and architectural standards. Design and document functional flows, business rules, system interactions, and solution architectures. Collaborate with project managers, technical architects, development teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution feasibility and consistency. Ensure architectural quality, long-term sustainability, scalability, and coherence across transversal initiatives. Identify risks, dependencies, and contribute to project and architectural roadmaps. Drive architectural alignment and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams and stakeholders.
Support solutions related to: Communication and document generation. Multi-channel communication delivery (paper and electronic). Incoming and outgoing communication archiving. Automated process orchestration. Service testing, monitoring, follow-up, and operational support.
Your main activities: Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex enterprise environments. Translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs. Define architecture principles, target solutions, and system interactions. Model business processes and solution flows using UML. Produce architecture documentation using Enterprise Architecture tools. Design integration solutions based on REST APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures. Evaluate cloud architecture options, particularly within Microsoft Azure environments, while considering architectural constraints and trade-offs. Work across multiple business domains, legacy systems, and cross-functional stakeholders. Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards, governance, and best practices.
You have the following skills: Architecture & Design Strong expertise in modern architecture principles and patterns. Domain-Driven Design (DDD). API-based architectures. Orchestration. Requirements
Experience with cloud architectures. Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, including architectural constraints and trade-offs. Professional Experience Proven experience as a Functional Architect and/or Solution Architect in complex enterprise IT environments. Strong track record in end-to-end solution design. Comfortable working within large transversal organizations involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and legacy systems. Soft Skills Autonomous. Accountable. Collaborative. Excellent communication skills. Ability to bridge business and IT. Ability to influence architectural decisions. Comfortable working in complex, cross-functional environments. Languages English: Fluent (mandatory). French and/or Dutch: Professional proficiency is considered an asset. Votre profil You have at least 5 years of professional experiences in IT If you are at least fluent in FR/ENG or NL/ENG it's best You're eager to learn, motivated and curious
