Job description
At Ninatrans, things never stand still. Our trucks are on the road 24/7 throughout Europe, and our scheduling runs day and night, that's only possible if our IT systems work flawlessly. You'll be the one making sure that happens. You'll join a close-knit IT team of three. Small enough to make a real impact and contribute to decision-making, yet large enough to rely on one another. You'll keep our systems running every day and help make them smarter. It's a job where reliable support and exciting project work go hand in hand.
- You'll provide fast, high-quality support to your colleagues. In a 24/7 operation, everything comes to a standstill as soon as IT fails. You'll ensure that everyone can continue working smoothly, from troubleshooting to implementing structural solutions that permanently resolve issues.
- You manage and optimize our internal IT infrastructure-network, servers, and security-and ensure everything runs reliably, even when it matters most outside of office hours.
- You manage and optimize our internal IT infrastructure, network, servers, and security. You ensure that everything runs reliably, even when it matters most outside of office hours.
- Together with your team, you'll lead IT projects from start to finish-from concept and planning, through implementation, to evaluation and follow-up.
- You will actively seek out areas for improvement and implement new technologies, including AI to make Ninatrans more efficient.
- You monitor the security of our infrastructure and ensure we comply with security standards.
- Occasionally visit our branches in the Netherlands and Germany to follow up on IT matters.
- Document what you set up and build so that the knowledge remains within Ninatrans.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, HBO5, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Between 2 and 5 years of experience in a similar role within an IT environment.
- Thorough knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, and security (WLAN, VLAN, DHCP). Knowledge of VoIP is a nice plus.
- Experience with servers; knowledge of Proxmox/Linux is a real asset.
- A strong interest in AI and how to apply it practically in technological innovation.
- Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You enjoy working as part of a team and aren't afraid to ask questions when necessary.
- Class B driver's license; you'll occasionally travel to our branches in the Netherlands and Germany.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English; French is an added advantage.
