Job description

Are you ready to discover the role of a Back Office Engineer in Netcompany? As a Back Office Engineer, you will:

  • Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, including authentication, authorization, identity federation, directory services, and identity provisioning.
  • Perform platform deployments, upgrades, patching, configuration changes, backup and recovery operations, and infrastructure maintenance to ensure secure and reliable services.
  • Support infrastructure projects, system migrations, and application integrations while collaborating with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure successful delivery and service continuity.
  • Monitor platform performance and service availability, investigate operational alerts, and analyse application, middleware, and infrastructure logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Conduct root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and contribute to service reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage security-related activities, including certificate lifecycle management, security configurations, vulnerability remediation, and compliance with security best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimise automation scripts to streamline operational processes and improve the efficiency of IAM platform management.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problems, changes, and releases in accordance with ITIL best practices, while maintaining technical documentation, knowledge articles, and providing technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operational teams., Being a part of the Netcompany team, you will be provided with:

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with Linux (RedHat), Oracle Database, Oracle WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat, LDAP technologies, Identity and Access Management concepts, Shell, Bash or Perl scripting
  • Experience with tools such as Git, Bamboo, Nexus, Dynatrace, Splunk, ServiceNow, Jira
  • Proven expertise in Linux-based infrastructure and middleware environments.
  • Hands-on involvement in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including Incident, Change, Release, and Problem Management.
  • Good understanding and practical application of ITIL best practices.

What could be an asset:

  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologies
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Knowledge of PM² or PRINCE2 methodologies and cloud environments and technologies
  • Experience working within European Institutions IT environments
  • Good written and spoken French
