- End-to-end product ownership: Act as the strategic data partner for cross-functional leadership (Marketing, Retail, Logistics). You will own the lifecycle of data products from discovery to deployment. Run requirements-gathering independently and translate complex business goals into robust data solutions.
- Architect the semantic layer: Partner with our engineers to build and maintain the single source of truth in our modern data stack, optimize scalable data models for analytics use cases, ensuring strict data governance and documentation.
- Empowerment & self-serve coaching: Instead of just building charts on demand, you will design the frameworks, training, and guardrails that empower business users to build their own reliable dashboards safely.
- Own the BI product lifecycle: Proactively monitor, report, and optimize the usage, freshness, and business impact of the assets you and your users deploy.
Requirements
Are you a seasoned data professional ready to take ownership of a modern BI ecosystem in a fast-growing, ambitious company? At MR MARVIS, we're looking for a Business Intelligence Specialist who is fluent in English and expert-level SQL, and who thrives on full ownership in a dynamic environment., * 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence or Analytics roles within a fast-paced environment (E-commerce / D2C retail scale-up experience is a massive plus).
- Expert-level SQL and a deep understanding of modern data warehousing design (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) and dimensional modeling.
- Production experience with the semantic layer: Proven success building and deploying code-based metrics definitions in modern BI tools (e.g., Omni, Looker/LookML, Lightdash) or data transformation workflows (dbt).
- Product management & enablement mindset: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a track record of driving BI platform adoption across non-technical organizations, with a strong focus on building BI frameworks that successfully allowed non-technical business units to build their own reliable reports.
- Visual mastery: Strong portfolio of intuitive, visually compelling dashboard designs.
- Experience with managing a data catalogue is a nice-have.
