Job description
You'll lead our global Internal IT function - the team that keeps more than 1,200 colleagues across the Nordics, Benelux, UK and Continental Europe equipped with reliable, secure and efficient technology. You'll oversee regional IT teams, own our enterprise applications and workplace technology, and act as the internal partner the business turns to for anything from a laptop rollout to an AI governance question. You'll define global standards while giving regional teams room to meet local needs, balancing governance, operational excellence, security and cost efficiency., * Lead and develop the Internal IT organization across all regions, and build a network of regional IT representatives and key users
- Define and implement a global operating model that keeps service delivery consistent while supporting regional business requirements
- Own IT operations end to end: incident, problem, change and request management, SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement
- Lead Service Desk and end-user support teams, and manage the lifecycle of laptops, mobile devices, meeting room technology and collaboration tools
- Own the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune and endpoint security, and set the standards for a secure, productive hybrid workplace
- Define and evolve our global infrastructure and cloud strategy, including our Azure tenant, networking and identity architecture
- Partner with business functions on enterprise applications - ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, procurement and more - owning enablement, lifecycle, licensing, vendor relationships and governance
- Set governance for safe, effective AI adoption, and help business teams identify real enterprise AI opportunities
- Manage strategic IT vendors, software licensing and IT assets across the group, driving vendor performance and cost optimization
- Work closely with Information Security to enforce endpoint security, vulnerability management, patching, backup and disaster recovery
- Build and execute the Internal IT roadmap, driving standardization, automation and cost efficiency across the landscape
Requirements
You think in standards and operating models, not one-off fixes, and you know how to balance group-wide governance with what a regional team actually needs day to day. You've led distributed IT teams before, so you're comfortable managing through others and building accountability across borders and time zones. You bring structure to IT operations and vendor management, but you're just as at home in a workplace technology or AI governance conversation. You see AI as something to actively enable, not just tolerate, and you want to be the one setting the standard for how your organization uses it safely and effectively.
- 8+ years of experience in IT Operations or Internal IT leadership
- 3+ years managing geographically distributed IT teams, ideally across multiple countries or regions
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Azure and modern workplace technologies
- Experience managing enterprise business applications, including lifecycle, licensing and vendor relationships
- Solid grounding in IT Service Management (ITIL)
- Experience managing IT vendors and outsourced service providers
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID / Active Directory, Intune)
- A track record of driving technology standardization across business units while preserving regional flexibility
- Exposure to AI platforms, AI governance or enterprise AI adoption is a strong plus
- Proficiency in English; other European languages are a plus
