Job description
Support the ERP transformation programme by profiling, mapping, cleansing, migrating, reconciling and validating procurement data across SAP Ariba and connected ERP systems. The role will own the cleansing plan, coordinate data issues and act as the link between business and technical teams.
SAP Ariba and data scope
Experience should cover at least two relevant SAP Ariba areas: Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP), Sourcing, Contracts, Buying/Guided Buying, Invoicing or SAP Business Network.
Supplier, contact, qualification, tax, payment and compliance data.
Commodity codes, material groups, service categories, units of measure and organisational reference data.
Sourcing events, supplier responses, awards, contracts, catalogues and attachments.
Requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, service entry sheets, invoices and supplier-collaboration data, · Own and coordinate the data-cleansing plan, issue triage, priorities, owners and deadlines.
· Prepare or validate SAP Ariba load templates, CSV files and migration artefacts.
· Support mock migrations, SIT, UAT, defect resolution, cutover and post-load validation.
· Reconcile record counts, values, control totals and key fields between source, staging, Ariba and ERP systems.
· Facilitate business workshops, report migration readiness and obtain data-owner approval and sign-off.
· Apply appropriate controls to supplier banking, tax and personal data in line with security and UK GDPR requirements.
· Own the cleansing and profiling plan, and act as a bridge between the Business and the technical team
Requirements
· SAP ARIBA Knowledge: Experience in source-to-pay process is essential specifically the ARIBA implementation.
· Data Analysis: Ability to analyse Supplier data, Sourcing data , Material/service data, Contract, purchasing, catalogue, invoice and collaboration data
· Documentation: Create and maintain data mapping, transformation, and validation documents.
· Data Quality: Perform cleansing, quality assessments, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
· Testing Support: Support mock loads, testing cycles, and post-migration validation.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Work directly with business users and SMEs to confirm data requirements and business rules.
· Technical Skills: Strong experience with Excel, SQL, or similar data analysis tools.
· Communication: Effective communication skills.
· Management skill: Experience manage overall cleansing activities, triage with the team,

· Identify data sources, owners, business rules, dependencies and migration requirements.
· Profile data for completeness, accuracy, consistency, duplication and referential integrity.
· Create and maintain source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, data dictionaries and validation rules.
