Job description
- Work with users in person and online to resolve technical issues.
- Update firewall rules and improve network efficiency.
- Review business processes and suggest improvements to eliminate technology issues.
- Diagnose, repair, and test computer problems as they arise.
- Set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers.
- Manage Cisco, Fortinet, and Meraki hardware.
- Manage security options and software in computers and networks to maintain privacy and protection from attacks.
- Perform regular upgrades to keep systems updated.
- Troubleshoot system failures or bugs and restore functionality.
- Arrange maintenance sessions to identify and fix inefficiencies.
- Keep records and update documentation related to repairs and fixes.
- Provide remote support for Windows and Android handheld devices.
- Work with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune to securely manage systems and accounts.
- Provide training and guidance on our badging and timekeeping systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair computer and printer equipment.
- Provide logistics for delivery and return of equipment.
- Support Linux workstations and servers in a business environment.

- SQL, We are Blue Summit, a dynamic group of technology professionals providing specialized security solutions, IT services, consulting, timekeeping, and expert support to clients around the world. We are expanding and hiring a full-time Systems Administrator to join our in-house IT team at our client location in White City, London (W12 7RZ). This is an in-person role with a typical schedule of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, depending on client needs. Requirements
- A technical degree in computer science or a related field is required.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft, Fortinet, Cisco, or similar are required or must be obtained.
- Experience in consulting or working in a multi-client environment is a strong plus.
- Previous MSP experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD/Azure Entra ID, and Intune is required.
- Experience with VoIP, 3CX, Linux, and ProxMox is highly helpful.
- At least 2 years of experience in networking and with Fortinet equipment is required.
- Experience with Microsoft software, including desktop and server editions and Office, is required.
- Experience with Windows and Azure Entra ID for 2 years is required.
- Experience in managing Linux workstations and servers in a business environment is required.
- Experience with Mac is preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable handling PC and laptop hardware, setup, and maintenance.
- Must be able to move and place equipment up to 50 pounds safely.
- Must be able to ask questions, listen to customers, and communicate issues clearly.
- Must be able to work with management to offer remediation options.
- Must love technology and enjoy helping people.
- Must be willing to commute to or relocate to our London location before starting work.
