You ll join a supportive team responsible for monitoring business-critical systems, responding to incidents and helping ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Full support will be provided as you develop your technical knowledge and become familiar with the organisation s systems and processes. What You ll Be Doing

  • Logging, updating, and managing incidents through service-management tools.
  • Identifying and prioritising technical issues in line with agreed procedures.
  • Providing clear updates throughout the incident-management process.

  • Supporting the Senior Operations Engineer with day-to-day technical activities.
  • Developing your IT knowledge through hands-on experience and team support.

  • Previous customer-facing experience, ideally within technical support or a service desk.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for developing a career in IT operations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to solving problems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and reliable timekeeping.
  • Confidence in learning new systems, applications, and technical tools.
  • A willingness to take ownership and support the wider team.

Benefits & conditions

The role will initially operate on a Monday-to-Friday day shift from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm. Once fully trained, the successful candidate will be expected to move onto the team s shift pattern and provide occasional additional shift coverage when required. This is a fully on-site position based in Havant, with no regular travel required. Contract Details

  • £20.00 per hour.
  • Inside IR35.
  • Initial six-month contract.
