- Support our hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure, VMware and Cisco Meraki technologies
- Improve cloud and infrastructure security controls
- Support MDR operations and strengthen cyber resilience
- Work with infrastructure, networking and service teams on security improvements
- Carry out incident response, alert triage and vulnerability remediation

- Support DR testing, recovery validation and business continuity activities

We are recruiting for a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing infrastructure and security team. The role supports a hybrid environment across Microsoft Azure, VMware and Cisco Meraki technologies and focuses on cloud security, infrastructure hardening, vulnerability remediation, incident response, disaster recovery testing and cyber resilience. This is a hybrid working opportunity with involvement across cloud security, network security, ransomware recovery planning and continuous security improvement initiatives. It would suit a Security Engineer, Infrastructure Security Engineer, Cloud Security Engineer or Cyber Security Analyst with strong hybrid infrastructure exposure and a practical operational mindset.
Requirements
- Microsoft Azure security experience, including Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC and Azure Policy
- VMware vSphere, ESXi and vCenter administration and security experience
- Cisco Meraki networking experience, including firewall rules, VLANs and VPNs
- Experience in incident response, alert triage and vulnerability remediation
- Windows and Linux hardening and patch management experience
- Experience supporting DR testing, recovery validation and business continuity
- Exposure to Sophos MDR, Microsoft Sentinel or Defender is preferred
- PowerShell, KQL or automation skills are advantageous
