Job description
- Provide first-line IT support to users via phone, email and face-to-face interaction
- Manage and respond to support requests through the company ticketing system
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues
- Install, configure and maintain computers, peripherals and IT equipment
- Support end-user devices and workplace technology
- Assist with printer management and maintenance
- Carry out routine system maintenance activities
- Support IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with wider IT teams and business stakeholders
- Follow IT security policies and procedures

Requirements
- Previous experience in an IT support or service desk role
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software and network troubleshooting
- Experience supporting end users within a business environment
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure, business applications and workplace technologies
- Experience using IT ticketing systems
- Good understanding of IT security principles and best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn new systems
- Experience within a manufacturing, production or operational environment would be advantageous
