Systems Administrator (Azure, AWS & Windows Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support a large-scale enterprise infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Windows Server Administration, AWS, Linux, and PowerShell scripting. This role is responsible for maintaining secure, highly available infrastructure while supporting enterprise cloud and on-premises environments.

This position serves as the primary technical resource for infrastructure administration and works closely with cloud engineers, application teams, security personnel, and data center staff., * Administer and manage Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory environments.

• Develop, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure and Windows Server administration processes.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure.
• Monitor Azure resource performance and recommend capacity improvements and optimization strategies.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Administer Linux servers and troubleshoot operating system issues.
• Configure and maintain Azure infrastructure security and identity management.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and enterprise authentication services.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, procedures, and system configurations.
• Develop, test, and maintain PowerShell automation scripts.
• Support application deployment, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot Windows, Linux, Azure, and cloud infrastructure issues with minimal user impact.
• Coordinate with infrastructure teams, cloud administrators, and business stakeholders.
• Research and recommend infrastructure improvements and technology solutions.
• Develop implementation schedules and assist with project planning.
• Perform additional infrastructure administration duties as assigned.

5+ years of Windows Server Administration experience

• 3+ years administering Windows Server 2016 or newer

• 5+ years administering:

• Active Directory

• DNS

• Group Policy

• Enterprise environments supporting 1,000+ users

• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure administration

• 2+ years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) administration

• 3+ years of Linux Server Administration

• Strong experience writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts

• Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications in virtualized and cloud environments, Candidates with the following experience will be highly preferred:

• State Government project experience

• Enterprise infrastructure supporting large distributed user environments

• Project planning, scheduling, and coordination

• Managing multiple technical projects simultaneously

• Working with cross-functional infrastructure and development teams

• Experience reporting project metrics and compliance

• Knowledge of criminal justice or government IT environments

• Experience with programming or data analytics

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

$55 - $60 per hour
