Senior Information Security Specialist

Train and educate staff in proper computer use and security awareness while providing tips to avoid data lass or corruption Identify and suggest improvements to existing security systems Provide technical leadership and engineering support to customers and in-house teams Advise end users on security incident trends and effective counteractive measures Create, improve, and maintain information technology security policies, baselines, standards, and procedures Create security checks in the infrastructure that help deter hackers, spyware, and other malware from being installed on endpoints while working with internal information technology support team to mitigate detected vulnerabilities Provide thorough knowledge of technical risk analysis, assessment, and mitigation

Associates degree in Computer Science or related field required - Bachelor's degree preferred Experience in handling security incidents, including investigation and remediation Experience with administering and securing Microsoft technologies and services, including Active Directory AND 2 years of experience Relevant Information Security industry certifications, (CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Required
